Carron Lodge, a family-owned cheese producer with over 30 years of expertise, winning the prestigious Super Gold Award at the World Cheese Awards for their Inglewhite Buffalo cheese. With roots dating back to old recipes from the early 1900s, Carron Lodge has grown their business by focusing on food service and independent retailers, eventually expanding their product range to include fine foods from around the world.

To improve their distribution network, they established four depots for next-day delivery across the UK. In 2022, Carron Lodge acquired a Packaging Automation (PA) rotary tray sealer machine and saw an opportunity to enhance their packaging capabilities.

PA's team of service engineers provided 24/7 support, giving the PA182 rotary machine a full service and converting existing tooling to gas flush the pack before sealing (MAP-F). This upgrade improved the packaging range and versatility of Carron Lodge's products. The family praised PA's excellent service and effective communication throughout the process, highlighting the engineer's helpfulness during installation.
